How CRS Calculator Works

Express entry employs CRS to rank profiles in the pool, as was already indicated. The express entry score calculator assigns a CRS score based on the following two criteria:

Core elements

Based on these fundamental considerations, up to 600 CRS points may be granted, including:

  • key and human capital elements
  • Criteria for transferrable skills
  • Influences of a spouse or common-law partner
Additional elements

A maximum of 600 CRS points are given depending on the extra considerations, which include the following:

  • State Nomination
  • Education in Canada, such as degrees, diplomas, or certificates
  • Genuine job offer
  • Speaking French fluently
  • Siblings living in Canada as a Citizen or a PR

Through regularly scheduled express entry drawings, IRCC distributes ITAs. The CRS score cut-off is determined by IRCC for each express entry draw, and only those profiles that satisfy the minimum CRS score criteria are invited.

With the use of our Canada immigration point calculator, you may determine your CRS score and your likelihood of receiving an ITA in the most recent invitational rounds.

How to increase your score

Below are some major points about how you can improve your CRS:

  • Improve your Language Skills: Try to score better in IELTS. If you score above 9 CLB then you can increase your rating up to 136 points. Also, taking a French Language Test can improve your score up to 75 points. You can take coaching as well for this.
  • Get a Provincial Nomination: If you got a provincial nomination from any province of Canada, then it will add up to 600 additional points in your Express Entry Profile.
  • LMIA Job Offer: If you receive a job offer from a Canadian Employer through Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), you can add up to 200 points to your application.
  • Canadian Education: you can earn up to 30 points

How to apply for a Canadian PR Visa

You are qualified to construct an online express entrance profile if you obtained a score of 67 and fulfilled the prerequisites for federal skilled workers. Your EOI (Expression of Interest) profile is combined with the profiles of other applicants in the express entry pool after being submitted. The CRS (Comprehensive Rating System) is a ranking system used by the expedited admission program that evaluates applicants' profiles based on several criteria and assigns points accordingly.

Through regularly scheduled express entry drawings, invites are sent to the pool's top-ranked profiles. You have 60 days after receiving an ITA (Invitation to Apply) to submit your PR Visa application to IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), along with the necessary supporting documentation.
